Aidan McInnis, a young, straight-laced pilot from Boston likes structure, so he is woefully unprepared when a series of personal upheavals deposits him in the heart of unconventional and uninhibited Key West, Florida. Over the course of the last twenty years, DM Paule has been an aerospace engineer, financial analyst, company controller, marketing consultant, speechwriter, disk jockey, librarian, television producer, corporate officer, entertainment critic, cartoonist, college professor and stand-up comic. He is rarely classified as focused.

The youngest of five children, he was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He managed to secure a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Georgia State University despite the serious misgivings of each institution's faculty. In 1989, he joined Delta Air Lines which has given him a wealth of opportunities to work and travel all over the world. It is also the longest relationship he has ever had, and quite possibly the most codependent. He lives in Atlanta
